Safer Recruitment
Wallop Primary School is committed to safer recruitment as part of our safeguarding culture. All staff and regular volunteers are recruited through robust procedures designed to deter, identify and prevent unsuitable adults from working with children. This includes appropriate checks such as identity, qualifications, references, right to work in the UK and enhanced DBS checks, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. At least one member of every interview panel has safer recruitment training, and all staff receive safeguarding training as part of their induction.
